Chase Stokes is speaking out after it was revealed that his stand in on Outer Banks, Alexander “AJ” Jennings, was killed during a hit and run accident on Tuesday morning (June 5).
According to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (via People), they revealed that the tragic accident occurred in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Officials said a male pedestrian was walking on the road shortly before 2:30 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the area. The pedestrian was then hit by another vehicle, which also left the scene, according to witnesses. AJ was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died.
The incident is still being investigated.
